What about the midpipe to axleback gasket?

You can use the factory gasket on the midpipe to axle back connection. That's what I used, works perfect.

Ordered a GTHAUS midpipe.

So what’s the consensus as to the loudest resonated midpipe? Seems like for many of us a midpipe swap is the ideal solution. Personally I strongly prefer the factory exhaust tips over what all the axle back aftermarket exhausts have, but definitely want some more V8 rumble.

If you're keeping the stock axleback, I would go for a non-resonated midpipe.

More options are coming. Bet.

Ya it's a tough call to give up a couple dBs with the resonated version. Used to love the extra raspiness of a non-resonated exhaust, now prefer things a bit smoother. Also holding out hope that an axle back option will be released with smaller oval exhaust tips similar to the OEM look, in which case I'd definitely want the midpipe to be resonated.

Definitely recommend the non-resonated as well with the stock axle back.

Ya definitely a personal preference as to resonated versus non-resonated. Just don’t like the raspiness of non-resonated … one of those things that once you notice it’s tough to ignore.

Regardless this seems like the perfect option for me -

I most likely will not touch mine, but I agree, not a fan of the raspiness either. From what I’ve seen thus far, the GT HAUS brand is one of the best sounding.

Hello, does anyone know for certainty the diameter of the stock midpipes. I am considering the gthaus mid pipe option, a custom made mid pipe locally, or zoomies. Zoomies are a brand name for modern day motorized cutouts. Thank you in advance.

Just tossed some calipers on my stock midpipe I have sitting in my garage. Pipe is 2.55" near the header connection, and 2.12" near the back axle.
