Is this an imported IS500? If it's not, my comment stands. This market has no first editions.

pretty sure all 500s were imported. If you’re asking about importing First Editions, most likely not. It is comparable to the bespoke option in Japan

Is it a Japanese market IS500? No, and you know exactly what I was getting at.

I think there is no point in arguing semantics; obviously there's a First Editon for the Japanese market only. End of story.

As am I given that there were no first editions in this market, which, given the context, is clearly the point. He's proposing to get a bad for a car that doesn't exist in NA and thus his car plainly cannot be a first edition.

your statement is sound, given you provided the details backing it

How about "Somewhere in the middle, not quite the end edition"? Might have to use a small font but that would be more accurate.

1000% agreed on making the car look like something it's not. Im actually not a fan of too many badges, i even removed the is500 of the trunk. But wasn't wanting this badge specifically, just never seen a non LE with a badge in that spot. Not even sure what "first edition" means.

It's basically like Launch Edition for the USA, except it's for Japan and without the numbering. First for Japan, but later to the party than the USA!

As annoying as it is, I do watch the ‘second time around’ reviews. A conversion happens every time.

This car is the answer to "they don't make them like they used to" and I like to use the analogy that the IS500 is like a handsome, traditonal mechanical watch that you keep forever because it just WORKS and will continue to while looking good, whereas these other cars on the market (the BMWs, the Audis, the Mercs) are like the modern day smartwatch- cool features and all, but pretty much disposable after a couple years and age like milk.

This was the previous videos original review. It's basically the same review but lightly more complainy if that's a word.
