Yeah 19% drive train loss is on the high compared to newer cars.
Interesting also that the torque mostly hovers around 325 for the peak zone with one tiny blip up to 350. The torque lines up with ~19% drive train loss as well using 325 as the result.
As a comparison, most of the 460hp A8 corvettes would only lose ~12% and typically put down 400-410rwhp. 19% is more than a 150% increase, kind of silly its that much.
Oh well, I guess it's just more bench racing/data analysis that doesn't give a complete picture of this amazing car. It could be more amazing if the car was putting down another 40 hp though!

my opinions on his 5 dislikes lol...
- the IS never had power folding mirrors in North American market which sucks but it is what it is, they do have it in some other markets, I guess maybe due to other markets have tighter roads and places to park
- the rear door keyless entry, they never had it and will never come in the future on a IS, you have to move up to higher model to get rear door keyless entry but u can unlock all doors with app or remote anyways so it doesn't really bother me
- the brake caliper colors are available in other colors in Japan just not here, but i like it black it keeps it stealthy.
- don't want the 500 to be available in awd cuz this keeps it special, and if it was available in awd the stupid hump will be right by your leg lol...
