Every single day during July here was over 115... Not a single day did it drop below 115 for the high. It was the hottest and driest summer we've ever had. We've really only gotten one good rain here, and it was only 4/10 of an inch.

If you’re willing to get up, come on! 💪🏽😎

Need to get up and down before the…::gulp::…mini vans come out of their dens.

This is literally just a BS thread now, and im all for it. I wish this forum had more of those. Those are the best kinds of threads. One dedicated thread per section to bs around.

Right! 😂

Start one!! Call it ‘The Poopie Thread’ because a bunch of asterisks is difficult to search. 😈

Oh no, the minivans! I got stuck behind a Lincoln MKX one time on Richard B. Russell... They passed so many turn-outs. I eventually just said, you know what? OK then. Normal mode, Auto. Then ripped it down Wolf Pen afterwards.

This was in the IS 350, thankfully.

Went for a little drive last night, btw, and I swear the transmission has gotten smoother over time. However, the 2-3 upshift in manual mode is still a little jarring if I am not giving it the beans.

I don’t plan on tracking this car like I did my RC, but I really want a reason to put an engine oil and transmission oil cooler on it. Not that I need it, but it's just cool.

the reason for most of my mods in my previous vehicles have almost always been because "why not". There is no better reason to buy car parts. Haha.

Came across this informative article on Aisin AA80E. Seems to explain some of the behaviors we've been discussing in this thread.

Good read! I wonder if the part about efficiency is why our cars dyno lower than they should.

Do they? I've seen some with ~400 rwhp, which is a 15% loss, unless 15% loss is considered high nowadays? I don't know. If so, then this for sure provides some explanation why the IS500 gets a bit slower 0 to 60 time compared to its competition. This, and the tall gearing (especially 2nd, 3rd) IMO. Night and day difference between the ZF 8 in my 330i. That thing shifts super quick and extremely smoothly, especially when in sport setting. Big difference I notice when I take the 2 cars out back to back for spirited driving. I wish I could go to a shop and ask them to swap the transmissions. LOL.
