yea standard trans cooler but not in the same location as an rcf. rcf is more to the right connected to the duct.

i'd love to see if you can take either the gsf/rcf engine cooler and bolt it like stock then cut out the vents on the bumper

Notice I said same location as an IS F..

Also in the IS F it was correctly finished in BLACK :dunno:

Maybe that cooler can be spray painted black? Might reduce performance though..

^^ (lol) At that rate, at least you won't have to worry about the steering rubbing on your belly either or difficulty getting in and out of the car - Are you using Jenny Craig?! (lol)

Nah, spray paint wouldn't be the best option.

Hopefully they notice comments like these and the final production cooler will be finished in black. Otherwise I'm sure there will be an aftermarket alternative.

Sidenote: thought these were nice pictures...

baby seat

Do you guys think a standard rear-facing infant seat will fit in the backseats?
It seems like it would, but it also seems like it might be tight...

Not sure, but for some reason this guy was annoying. Listening to him make be tired.

That's Doug DeMuro and yes he's as annoying as Joe Raiti.

The guy has a history of crapping on Lexus's. He did a terrible review of the RC F a while ago. In this one, he complains about the touchpad without mentioning the touch screen, assumes that the interior sound is all natural and doesn't talk about the ASC, and only assumes the pricing because he filmed this a while ago and didn't bother to edit it in.

I couldn't get through Doug's video. He's just too annoying. Same thing with that Raiti guy. The bald guy from Everyday Driver is the worst though.

Has everyone noticed how lackluster these reviews are? Meaning a lot of reviewers got basic stuff wrong. The touchscreen, ASC, trans cooler etc. I know there's more but that's off the top of my head.

For example I do like Matt Farah and think he does a good job, but I felt like he had somewhere else to go while he was reviewing it.

Most of us know more about this car than the YouTubers, even the dealers, and you can't blame them since they review several cars per week. They have no skin in the game so they can say whatever they want. I agree that every review is almost the same though. Exterior, interior, driving impressions, yadda yadda. Idk if there's much else to talk about. Maybe they could drive the car off the edge of a cliff and see how the car does? Now that would be entertaining.

yeah, the Matt Farah review seemed a little fake, like he was incentivized to play nice. some of the online articles I read seemed to adore the car for what it is. but I think the youtube reviews are 50/50 and I do get some of the negative comments here and there. but I want this car for the NA V8, reliability, Lexus quality and the fact I won't need to spend too much on maintenance (compared to the Porsche I had). this car is also an emotional purchase so as long as I love it, that's all that matters.

He's always annoying. I won't even attempt to watch that. Plus he's a lexus hater and pretty predictable.
