yep. Fully loaded. You can probably special order a base one.. but it may take many many months to get one delivered to the dealer. I myself actually would prefer this. I never use sunroof and don't really need the upgraded stereo or navigation. Google maps is fine for me. None of those things are worth the extra $5000 plus to me.

yes. Similar to this year's 300's and 350's. Upcharge for certain colors

There is no upcharge for the white color in Canada

FYI, the official ClubLexus review of the IS 500 -- https://www.clublexus.com/articles/l...g-first-drive/

I'm still curious what the base vs loaded packages will actually include. The loaner cars in these videos have been confusing at best. Triple beam headlights without the moonroof. Memory seats in none of the loaners, but listed as an option in the pre-launch brochure. I think it could be something like this:

Base:
+ triple beam LEDs

Loaded:
+ moonroof
+ ML
+ Nav
+ memory/telescopic steering wheel package (the big question mark)

If loaded indeed includes memory package I think it could be worth the $4500 extra.

MY22-Lexus-IS-PreBrochure.pdf

There is a brochure that was posted on Lexus.com that talks about the packages and what appears to be standalone options

I'm only going off what my Lexus PR reps told me (and only tested one loaner) but it's my understanding that all of the cars include moonroofs, and you can't get the triple beams with the base. I'm not sure about memory seats. I could be wrong though -- sometimes marketing folks don't have exact details.

blind spot monitoring

Does IS500 have blind spot monitoring or side cameras to assist in lane changes?
I have not found any info on this.

Regular IS has this so I'm pretty sure it does.

Thanks. I guess the only question remaining is, does loaded mean it includes everything in that pre-launch brochure such as all packages and all options.

That's my understanding, yes. (Could I be mistaken, also yes) The Lexus PR folks described it thusly --

The Base and Premium grades are mono spec, so “options” are already built into the MSRP. The key spec differences between Base and Premium are:
  • Intelligent Clearance Sonar and Panoramic View Monitor
  • Power rear sunshade
  • Triple beam headlamps
  • Navigation w/Mark Levinson
