Value of 2022 IS500 LE

I'm thinking of selling my IS500. It's a 2022 LE with about 50,000 km on it (31,000ish miles). What do people think is a fair price for the car?

TGPCanada Nov 28, 2025 01:54 PM

$Cdn. 64500

I was gonna close to 64 also since it's the LE. What are you getting instead?

snowyblue Nov 28, 2025 03:17 PM

Low to mid 50s usd with that mileage

If I sell, I'm interested in the WRX tS. AWD is awfully attractive now that we're in full fledged Alberta winter.

^^ Subaru's AWD are pretty hard to beat in our climate!! Obviously my situation is different as I never drive mine in the winter so I can understand your decision to move away from your 500

EngIceDave Nov 29, 2025 03:34 AM

My guess is mid to upper 50’s

arentz07 Nov 29, 2025 06:32 AM

If this was in the US, I'd say low $50k USD, possibly a little less if there are any items on the CarFax/history that might impact value.

Private sale, probably $60k USD, maybe a bit more. Trading it, likely mid $50k.

It's crazy to think these cars were going for $80-90k at one point lol

Fools and their money, or something like that

A rough analog to guestimate resale value is to look at Lease Residuals.
Not the IS model specifically, but cars generally have about a 50% residual in a 36-month lease.
If that holds generally true, then our opinions of "$50k or $60k" would appear favorable for a
car that was once "$80k or $90k".

Only silly people paid that much. The launch edition was around $67k MSRP, with dealer markups bringing it to those higher figures. You can look at the price of used ones to see what the market is, especially since I doubt many people actually leased these
