Default Midpipe install question

I understand the exhaust flange bolts are 40 lb-ft torque and the O2 sensors are 25 lb-ft torque, but what is the torque spec for the bolts that hold the brace that needs to be removed?

Appreciate any help you guys can provide.

I can't answer and I applaud the attention to detail, but any exhaust work I've ever done, tight is tight as long as it's not leaking.

Don't make the mistake I did of using antiseize. Makes torquing impossible. I just knocked 1/3 off the torque spec and hoped for the best, but it doesn't work the same.

When I put the brace bolts back on, it was just "tight as my milwaukee goes" which is about how it felt coming off.

Glad I can help, did a full catback myself not too long ago and had the very same question. Of note, there are 2 plastic nut things that you need to twist off for the brace. They can be a PITA to remove if you don't realize how to remove it (took me a few hours...). You can use a coin or a large flathead to keep twisting it until it eventually comes off. To put it back, you push directly upwards on the brace with the holes aligned, and it will stay in place, making it easier to put the rest of the bolts back.
