Thanks! I think it just has the right amount of tone with minimal drone, if at all. Give me sometime to record the interior sounds. I am in the process of installing the RSR Coilovers.

Heres my vid with just borla AB and also with borla AB and a resonated X mid pipe. Maybe this could help determining "loudness'

Yes, thank you. I've seen that video on Youtube before. How would you rate the current setup you have with the prior mentioned scale?
I currently have only the Borla axleback and would subjectively rate it between Quiet- Medium.

I personally would rate it, medium to loud. Its not loud but its also not quiet. Overall I really like this setup. Inside the cabin, you can still have a conversation with the passenger at a normal volume. You do get some drone in the 2k range, but you can mess with the throttle to avoid the drone. If youre in the AZ area, happy to meet up and let you hear it in person.

I think the Borla apexi midpipe setup is loud, definitely not quiet, but not dumb loud either.

Borla is quite loud with aftermarket mid-pipe, my friend's RC-F had to install back to oem mid-pipe cuz he was getting complaint from his neighbors hahahaha

Anyone have experience with the Remark axle back?
All I want is an axle back that is a little louder at idle, throaty loud when on the throttle hard and no drone.
This wasn’t on the list, why I’m asking. Suggestions for me are welcome.
Also, are the colored (blueing) tips really that difficult to care for?

Thanks

This^^
I have the Borla with APEXi resonated mid and it can be loud, but it is also quite tame during normal cruising.

I have the Remark I will try to get you a sound clip it's perfect to me. I was thinking it would be too loud for the wife. She said where did my quiet Lexus go lol. It's just right, I think. If you ever come to GA, I will take you for a ride? Cold start perfect going down the highway in normal mode you just know it's a V8. I will not have to add mid pipe.

That sounds what I am looking for. I just want it to be a couple levels up from where it is stock. If stock is a 2 and 3 on a volume ****, I want to go to 4 and 5.I don’t want to go to 11. So no drone or buzzing?

I have the Ark catback system on mine. The midpipe has hiflo cats and is resonated. I would classify it as Loud but not obnoxious. No rasp and no drone when cruising in top gear. Sounds amazing to me!

Remark is generally not that loud, especially this system. I've ran bunch of Remark products before.

Let us know if we can work you some free shipping on this unit.

Also FYI for anyone interested in Borla, prices go up tomorrow.

Here's a Remark Axleback mated to PPE Resonated X-Pipe, fully broken in. Daily cruising hardly notice it. Drone, like any aftermarket exhaust, it will accentuate the natural drone that the stock system has from 1500-2000, but very livable.

Thank you, I did see that on the Remark website. How much difference in sound will there be with the PPE Resonated X-Pipe? More, I would imagine?
