brutal news man, really sorry to hear you have to go through this... assuming your apartments garage is a large shared structure or are they attached directly to your unit?

The garage is part of a large shared structure but it is attached to the building. As for the theft itself, I did not see any broken glass so it is possible it was stolen using FOB relay or the headlight method. I did not get any notifications from my app. I only noticed the car was gone as I was preparing to go into the office for work. I got the last pinged location but not sure how accurate it is. A police report has been filed and I notified a couple of my Chicago PD buddies that work in that district. They will see what they can do. My friend did say if its in a warehouse or not visible on private property then there is not much they can do unfortunately. We'll see how it plays out.

This is not the post I was hoping to make when I registered, but unfortunately my car got stolen around 2 AM Wednesday morning. Hoping to get the word out so no one else is caught as off guard as me and with a tiny grain of hope that someone might have seen the car before it got stuffed into a container. She was a 2023 Black IS 500 with BBS wheels, last seen in Queens. I already have a police report and notified both Lexus and my insurance, so there's not much else I can do

The last time the status of the car updated was 10/13 11:50PM which was the night it was stolen and it has not updated since. When I tried to remote start/lock/unlock the app returned a message that the signal was interrupted so I am convinced the car isn't actually there. Pretty sure they ripped something out that makes the app work.
