Interior of the Ultimate Edition probably
Came across this image of the supposed interior of the Ultimate Edition. Gonna say not a fan of it if is the actual design. Found it whilst browsing an Asian site regarding the 500 ultimate edition.

^^ well that is a dark colored car which our edition will not be so I don't think this will be what the seats and steering will be like, but we will see. This is not my cup of tea if its close to that. I like the idea of a suede/nuluxe combo but hope they come up with something better

You are probably right I believe it’s a mockup of the interior it was mentioned it would be red and black seats with red seatbelt. Most likely there will be changes. I couldn’t find the original site I looked at but on it did show slides of the 500 ultimate exterior like the press page and that interior mock up. Will link to it when I find it again.

Let's hope Lexus actually comes through with the rumoured 900 hp twin-turbo V8 hybrid LFR later this year or next year. They are due for a major performance splash as opposed to these cosmetic changes. Sorry to veer off topic here.

My sales guy said he heard they're still doing it, but didn't mention 900hp. He expected a $150-200k price tag. I told him keep me in the loop under $100k lol

Even a 600+ hp variant would do. Lexus is way overdue now. Whether its an LFR or LC-F, they need to up their game in terms of at least trying to get level with the playing field.
Back on topic I guess, I'd probably swap my car straight across for the ultimate edition just to have nicer brakes and a lighter paint. I LOVE my USB when its clean, but living in this dust bowl is a nightmare for a darker car. I wouldn't pay the different for the newer car, though. The small changes aren't worth that much lol |

I put a request in with my salesman. Hoping these will be Performance “Premium” models. I want Mark Levinson, triple led headlights, bigger touchscreen, power folding mirrors, and rear sunshade. I want it as “Ultimate” as possible. :D

I keep looking at the press release patiently waiting for more info :p. Highlighted the points of interest on the UE. The LFA inspired steering wheel definitely has my interest. Wonder where the inspiration will come from. Flat bottom? CF? Red leather on 9 and 3? Engine Start on the wheel?:D
Exterior Elements Up front, the IS 500 Ultimate Edition features Brembo® opposed 6-piston aluminum calipers paired with high-friction brake pads and large 380mm pillar-fin ventilated disc brakes, delivering exceptional stopping power and fade resistance. The brake calipers are finished in an exclusive red, emphasizing not only the vehicle’s enhanced performance but also its pursuit of a more aggressively sporty style. In addition, the car is fitted with 19-inch forged alloy wheels by BBS®, engineered for reduced weight and increased rigidity. Continuing with aesthetics, a specially applied matte black finish gives the wheels a sharp, confident presence that further reinforces the vehicle’s athletic stance. The Ultimate Edition also introduces a new F SPORT exclusive body color: Wind. This metallic light gray finish intends to convey a sense of agility and motion, capturing the dynamic character of the driving experience. In-Cabin Opulence Inside the cabin, the IS 500 Ultimate Edition features a color theme of Circuit Red and Black, with seats trimmed in a combination of NuLuxe and Ultrasuede®, while the LFA-inspired steering wheel and shift knob come finished in dimple-textured genuine leather. Red seatbelts, a serialized badge, and other accents are thoughtfully applied throughout the interior, creating a cohesive, performance-inspired theme that further sharpens the IS 500’s powerful and aggressive styling. Adding to the allure, the analog clock features a multi-layered dial finished with precision red laser etching, emphasizing craftsmanship at the most detailed level. The center console serialized badge and scuff plates are finished with exclusive Ultimate Edition design elements, and the 8-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) display—with color multi-information display and rear seat reminder function—features an Ultimate Edition exclusive Multi-Information Display (MID) start-up animation, creating a heightened sense of anticipation each time the vehicle is started. https://external-content.duckduckgo....90fce49ccd76f5 |
I like the look of that steering wheel but man is that red ever gaudy. No thanks.

The "LFA-inspired" steering wheel probably just means the top/bottom are carbon fiber, and the rest is the same. They wouldn't make a new part. Just some cosmetic stuff. I will eat my hat if they flatten the bottom of the wheel.
