It’s there stock, so guessing limitation with the stock header. Don’t really feel it much when accelerating.

Maybe, but the car keeps making power beyond that so it seems flow isn't an issue.

I went with the full kit so I can flash back to stock if needed. If you’re local to one of the locations he tunes at you can just have him flash the car and not get the dongle, but not sure on what the price difference is.

I was referring to the cost, but thanks.

403whp w/ midpipe shows only a 15% loss through the drive train. so at 432whp is ~508hp at the crank.

I am not surprised by these numbers. I said in another thread about what the mid pipe and headers can produce with a V8* as opposed to a V6 and caught hell. The mid pipe alone on average should result in 25HP. The headers are quite a few more! I feel a huge difference with my full cat back. Remember how restrictive those crimps in the stock axle back are and these numbers are that much more impressive. Thank you for sharing PandonSF! Cannot wait to get my headers and hear more about this tune thing!!!

It's car specific, some V8s make great power with mods, others don't. Some V6s make great power with mods, others don't.

This is also one dyno. I'd like to see before making any sweeping assertions. I'm not dissing the product, just saying one point doesn't make for a good data set.

That's if 403rwhp is accurate. Dynos all read different, other people have gotten numbers 20-30hp lower (when stock). The gains are a legit measured improvement, though, and not bad for an NA car. I'd still like to see the air/fuel ratio just to see if they leaned it out to make the power.

i concur. different type of dynos and the set up variables (ie fans vs no fans, ambient temperature/humidity of the test location, hood open/closed, etc) affect readings. it's been proven a midpipe alone gives 10+ whp, so +30 whp and +40 ft/lb tq with a tune is more than satisfactory; especially at that price point. some cat back exh systems cost almost double and the additional power gain isn't much. i too would like to able to review the air/fuel ratio. makes me wonder how much/if the gas mileage is affected after the tune.

Once saw this on the forums before. That the dip had something to do with the port and direct injection switching over.

You're gonna love it. I had him send me the transmission tune and have been running it the last few days and it's great. I always hated how the car would shift so early if you weren't full throttle and how much you had to push the pedal to get it to downshift and accelerate on the freeway. This got rid of all that, feels a lot better and enjoy the new found power.
