Alright so I’m going to try and make this as condensed as I can. I’ve been in contact with Boost Logic, and they are close to finishing the supercharger package on the LC 500. I’m told after that is complete, they will begin on the IS 500. That being said, I intend on purchasing that package once it’s available.
With the increased power, I would like to swap out the stock wheels for some wider ones. I would like to put 19x9.5 on the front, and 19x11.5 on the rear. In order to achieve this, I would be purchasing 4 Enkei Raijin in 19x9.5 and having 2 of them widened by 2” for the rears.
The offsets are available in either +15 or +35. The adjusted offset for the rears with the added 2” are +40 or +60, respectively. I have entered these numbers into Will They Fit, and I am posting the resulting images.
I would be running 275/35R19 front and 315/30R19 rear.
So, is there any chance either of these configurations could work, or would there not be enough room. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I highly doubt those will fit, front or rear. Maybe, MAYBE if you could space them out far enough to clear the suspension, you could do a wide-body kit of some kind (not sure if any exists yet).
Artisan Spirits just released a widebody for the IS 500. 30mm wider in front, 50mm in the rear. The price is honestly not that bad for a full widebody kit, but you need to cut your fenders to fit it.
You’re going to run into a scrub radius issue in the front. 245/40/19’s rub firewall in the front on this car.
I haven't heard about this have you seen this come through your shop?
I put 265/35/19 up front without any rubbing stock ride height, I am running a little more caster than stock. The tire to strut clearance is only thing that's getting close with factory offset maybe 20mm.
Lots of space all around in the rear with 295s but fender clearance would be issue with a huge 11.5" wheel even at +35.

it’s on my car, and I’m lowered on swift spec r springs.
For ****s and giggles I ran my rears on my front to see if they fit. I'm running 19x10+35 with 275/35r19 tires and it fit, barely. I'm also lowered on Swift springs. I don't think I would run that setup though. The inner rim is pretty dangerously close the the front suspension.
