Tonight I grabbed some measurements of my IS before I install front upper arms and lower control arm bushings.
I've been a little underwhelmed by the turn in abilities of the car. A lot of understeer when trying to really throw the car around. I'm hoping to correct this with 265s up front, adding almost a degree of negative camber and some poly compliance bushings courtesy of RR.
So naturally I needed a baseline of how the car is set up from the factory. Needless to say I was pretty pleased with how well they dialed it in, the rear was a little out but overall I thought it was decently aligned.
The car has just over 6k miles, roads here are pretty rough but I've not had any instances that would normally cause misalignment or concern for damaged components.
Before measurements are a little skewed due to the heater blowing on the satellites after compensation. Actual numbers in calm air was dead on in the front, even across the board, the rear had a .3° split on camber and toe was off by about .07".
Made a quick toe adjustment, changed my camber measurement fractionally to display 1.9 from 2.0 (again the before measurements printed a little different than actual.)
As a result of this, I can't accept the rear camber and it isn't factory adjustable... I also personally don't like SPC as a company and haven't found many options for rear camber arms that aren't SPC. Figs being the only exception and the arms they sell are strikingly similar to the SPC arms.
On to the questions
Does anyone know of other rear camber arms offered by a company other than SPC and Figs?
Has anyone else had theirs aligned or looked into making alignment changes for the sake of performance and not strictly for"stance"?
Lastly have any of the "higher" mileage guys noticed inner tire wear as a result of soft LCA bushings that other models have suffered from?
