All you're doing is punishing the 2nd owners! Won't anyone think of the 2nd owners?
What if there is NO second owner?
Honestly, still mulling what I want to do long-term with this car... One side of me wants to keep it, cause I really do love it to pieces. But at the same time, there is a side of me that wants a more dedicated sports car - something with two doors and perhaps two seats. We'll see. For now, having something that is very usable and practical is quite nice.
I changed my oil at 1200 miles and my wife was watching. She was like "dang the underside of the car is cleaner than the top side of the car".
I need to drive this thing more, lol.
lol nice. That is a new car for you.
I am noticing the wheel barrels are getting coated in brake dust now. I may have to go the extra mile and try to clean those.
I've been using Meguiar's All Wheel Cleaner and am happy to report that the wheels seem to be holding up just fine. It helps loosen the brake dust quite a bit.

Speaking as one former BMW owner to another current owner, I would think that any other car is a reprieve in terms of brake dust.
Took the 500 on a long and required drive this past Monday. I am at 9000K at 9 mos. of smiling each day. Everytime I park it, I have to look back at least twice and smile.
