Excuse this older straw hat old guy......did I see a phone holder that fit in the cup holder on this site...BTW...I'm loving my 500 and now am driving on weekends and don't want to pile up the miles since I cant buy a new in three years..

You can try this, been using it and its not too bad, fits quite tight and handles a few hard accelerations plus you still have access to all buttons on the dash and the cup holder

 

You can also consider this one as well. Saves your cup holder area for the important thing...like actually holding a cup

 

I picked that one up and the other one w/ the magsafe.

the magsafe has super weak magnets. it's only secured to the plate steel using 3M VHB.

I'm just gonna go cut a sheet of scrap metal w/ my plasma and press brake a new bracket for myself.

Instead I'll just use a magsafe mount from Anima Motorsports and a 1" ball + connecting arm to mount it to the plate. At least that way I can put it on the right or the left side and angle it towards me.

It will need minor trimming. Very easy with Dremel tool.
