Im interested in doing this as well, but I want to keep my heated steering wheel option.. I cant seem to find a carbon fiber, preferrably flat bottom with heated option available for sale.. has anyone seen one of like that?
Contact Raymond Dang (lexusacc) or Elvin Wong (IG: elvin_6188) and see what they can do.

Hey @chi3fy , did you get a chance to install the steering wheel?
I'm looking to install it on my IS500 but not sure how to wire the LED light fixture. Any info/experience you could share would be appreciated.
edit: FYI I'm also in FL!
Did any of you @chi3fy@drizzo77 manage to install the steering wheel. i have an is350 2023 and i want to install a led carbon fiber steering wheel but before i do it wanna see if you can give me some pointers.

There are some blanks in the clockspring wiring where you have insert pins on both ends of the plug.

If you're still looking, you can get one from Carismo Design. They have a website and IG I posted on this thread above. I ended up getting an OEM build, all leather but curvier and thicker, flat bottom, pale white stitching to match the interior, no stripe and OEM FSport logo on bottom. Opted to keep heating, but its entire wheel, not just 2 spots like on OEM and apparently retaining haptic feedback is not a problem with these at all so that stays. They have a bunch of different designs and CF options, but I just wanted OEM+ look, which I'm very happy with.
If you're close to their base on SI, or can drop by one of their installers, maybe you would consider them doing the install for additional $200 which is what I did. Very pro work, installer mentioned that IS 500 is only a 5 out of 10 for him difficulty wise. Which I was glad to hear.
Oh and if you're like me and have trouble selecting from online images, they were kind enough to offer me a visit to their showroom which has 100's of different wheels on display. I was able to select a few and take them out to my car to "try on". Put a deposit down on the spot.

Ya steering wheel removal, including removing airbags, is pretty crazy easy to do. Definitely feels like a scary undertaking but so long as battery is disconnected it doesn’t get much easier.
Im sure you're right. I just didn't want mess with it. Plus, figured this will keep the collateral damage to a minimum. Seems like everytime I touch something I leave some marks.
