Hello New Member from PA 4-4-24 delivery day
came from a 2021 IS350 Fsport that I had for 3-4 months and hated it, might be cause I came out of a 2014 RS5 convertible. So far in love with this thing haven’t really opened her up yet only 120+ miles on the clock. Current mods spacers, interior leds, rear badge delete. Toms racing filter on the way, tints and wheels getting coated next week. Mods to come drop (not sure which way I wanna go yet) intake tube and heat shield, exhaust and prob ppf but the black splitter already has rock chips fml as I had a 100 mile trip home. Hello and would love to hear more about what else would be recommended. Below is the heartbreaker

WhooHoo! Congrats and welcome!

After the break-in period (621 miles), I think you will be impressed with the sound and performance when you do open it up. 😎

That’s what I’m praying for 🤣 might have to take a trip somewhere to make this happen faster! Staying under 3k rpm’s and not in the same room for too long of a period is a challenge

::heehee:: Long trips and a ton of milk runs to stores 15 miles away should do the trick. 😜

Welcome and congrats on the new whip!

If you ask me, taking it easy for 621 miles is a small price to pay for the thousands of miles of smiles to come. It was not easy, but I got through most of the break-in period without going over 5000 RPM. Keeping it to 3k might be overkill especially after the first 200 miles or so. Just always make sure the car is fully warmed-up. Give it 10-15 minutes before you go over 3k RPM even after break-in, but also, don't stress too much. There are plenty of IS Fs out there with this same engine that have 200,000 miles and still running great.

Hey if Lexus was willing to let me beat the snot out of a Molten Pearl IS500 with 40 miles at their Performance Driving School, I'm sure one small rev won't do much. It's about the smiles per gallon after all lol

Well almost at 200 my theory was to always beat the snot out of it. I feel like performance cars that are babied and not driven tend to have more issues. Now with that said proper maintenance is key. Also the days of engines not being broken are long gone if I had to take a wild guess. But hey I’m willing to try new things 🤷🏽‍♂️

Oh trust me, I’m not advocating babying. Just a friendly note to follow the manufacturer’s suggestion if it wasn’t already known. BluStreak’s tongue is hanging out and the tires have a nice scent when I pull into the garage every time. 😈 Like Alex basically said, do the easy 621 now, then have thousands of miles of fun later. 😉

Welcome Aboard! Damn does Atomic look freakin' amazing on the 500.

I just crossed 1,000 miles today and boy do the smiles get wider and wider. Enjoy!
