^^ Thanks - Yeah, I loved my RC from certain angles but I didn't like front view/grill as much, it just looked a bit too rounded plus I was itching for something new as that is my 2 year itch (lol). I just couldn't resit the white combo (white on white) and I was worried because I ordered one back in Jan without ever seeing it and then I purchased it without seeing it - It was all done virtually and then they shipped me the car - when it arrived, I was like I LOVE IT! Another thing I like about the current IS is the contrast on the white with several gloss black really pops and where I never drive mine in the rain or inclement weather, I know it will stay clean at all times.

I am a bit nervous about your flat tire story Hopefully I won't have a bad experience either but you should be relieved you wife has bolts over "nuts" (LMAO) - J/K

 

I’ve seen 2021 on the road it stands out in the crowd even though it’s not a complete redesigned car. I didn’t know Lexus offered white interior is it leather or Nuluxe?

 

It's the newlux interior - They offered the black, red and white interior here in Canada but the white interior is not available with the Dynamic Package, at least here anyway. I like red interior in general and my 2017 IS and 2019 RC were both red but I find they put a bit too much red with the 2021. Had they applied the red where the white is found, I would have be fine with it.

And I agree, despite being a refresh, it really stands out with its proportions and creases - I love the rear flare/hip

EDITS - I just checked Lexus.com and as in Canada, the white is not available with the Dynamic package either

Thanks...yeah, I hadn't seen any white on white and even the white interior in general, in the flesh before i put the order. Then the car arrived and purchased it without seeing it and was trucked over here and was soooooo happy when I saw it in person, it looks amazing and exceeded my expectations. I just have to make sure to avoid any laxatives before going for a drive as that would be really crappy lol

Screen position is way better now that it's touchscreen, Carplay use is so much better with touchscreen UI is designed for it. I'll probably test drive IS500 in the fall.

 

Thanks for the photo of the interior. They changed the clock somewhat, I see. I love the analog clock in our IS vehicles.
I'm glad the CD player still lives. Some of us still use it on occasion. I'm having the Lexion CarPlay/Android Auto
unit installed with the larger touchscreen June 11. Screen is no longer in dash, I see. I had something similar in my
Mercedes CLA 250, though smaller.

 

Congrats. I have the same one but red interior. I did see a blue w/ white interior and it looks amazing in person. I had a question, I thought the 19" dark chrome was standard on all non-DHP 350's. Since you say it's a gunmetal chrome, non-polished. I can't tell on the pics. I believe mine are dark chrome since they turn dark when the sun hits them.

 

Like I think you mentioned before,, the refresh looks muxh better in person or even video. I really wasn't a fan until I got a good look at one and could see it still had that sporty appeal of an IS. Its pretty mean looking still

 

I noticed from pictures that USDM F Sport base wheels have the black chrome wheels like what they used on the older Blackline editions, while CDM, JDM and AUDM market cars have the gunmetal wheels.

OP has a nicely speced out car between the gunmetal wheels and the white on white. Checkout the corners of his front bumpers, it looks like they have headlight washers up here.
