Default Why so few CPO 350s around?

Was just browsing L/certified inventories in SoCal and I noticed there are hardly any IS 350s available. Why is that? Hope the IS 500 used market is kinder in a few years.

There were more IS 300's produced than IS 350. For 2021, Lexus wanted to change that and repositioned the IS 350 with the F SPORT package only. The price point was brought down and production will be more biased towards it. I don't have an exact percentage, but it's greater than before.

It's just that way. Not as many of them as there are the 300 or 250.

When I bought my 350 i felt fortunate I only had to drive 1.5 hrs in Socal to get one I wanted, and that wasn't CPO. When I sold it there were literally only 2 other available which were 2014-16. I had multiple callers from out of state even.

Like said that changed in 2021 most of those i see are 350s.

^ Yes. I rarely saw IS 350s at the dealer when I was in for service, leading me to believe they are not produced nearly as much as the lower trims... Combine the pandemic's effect on the used car market with this, and it may be difficult to find the one you want nearby or at all.

^ Agreed. Even on the roads, I usually run into 250's or 200t's. It's really rare to see a 350 - 3rd or 2nd gen.

300 also offers the same V6 as 350 with a lower price

250 / 300 significantly cheaper than 350. Same thing happened when I was shopping around, I only had options to used 250's, never came across 1 350. I would assume it's more available now but I think the market for this car was older people at the time so I doubt they cared about the horsepower
