Default When are F Sport Modifications Released for IS’s

I have an IS300 2019 F Sport RWD. I recently called a lexus dealership to ask if they provide and install F Sport Exhaust (turns out my f sport doesn’t have have the F Sport Axle Back) . Anyway the dealer let me know that they do offer that service but at this time the F sport exhaust is not offered for the 2019+ IS’s. I know I can get another brand axle/cat back but I want to keep my IS OEM all the way in case I choose to trade in toward a future IS model, maybe 2025? (Hoping they have a twin turbo is by then )

Does anyone know when the F sport parts are released for the Lexus IS’s? I want it to be a clean fit, no welding or anything funky just to get an old exhaust to fit.
I also want to do the F sport air intake pipe and filter/housing but they don’t have that for my cars year yet either.

Thanks!

Doubt they will bother to update parts for old cars. The diffuser is probably why it's not compatible. Just stay stock. Classy/nice as is. The exhaust does nothing but attract the wrong attention (bros, cops, thieves) and cause racket/noise.

I don't expect any USDM offerings for F Sport exhausts on the 300 RWD platform. The aftermarket may be your only option. I've never heard of a "F Sport" branded exhaust for the turbo four cylinder models.

The 200T/300/350 all use the same axlebacks...It's the mid pipe that differs. They still make the 14-16 F sport exhaust and you can order/install it if you pair it with a new rear defuser to compensate for the different tip style for 17-20. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...018-is350.html

I see. I did not realize the axle back would bolt up to the midpipe for the 200t or 300 RWD.

From what I have heard about the F Sport exhaust, is that it is like 1 decibel louder than stock (an exaggeration, but you get my jest), so I do not think that the F Sport exhaust would be unclassy, especially since it was designed and released by Lexus themselves, nor do I think it would draw much attention.

On the other hand though, why pay all that extra money for an exhaust that sounds almost stock. I wouldn't personally spend my money on the Fsport exhaust, I would either go aftermarket or keep it stock, since the Fsport axle back doesn't add any performance, and also does not really add much sound. I love OEM parts as well, but see no benefit at all in the Fsport axle back.

Chiming in to add that the F-sport exhaust is definitely a worthwhile upgrade from stock. It adds a deeper exhaust note and significantly louder at WOT but well balanced especially if you don’t want an obnoxiously loud exhaust on your daily driver. It’s pricey but keeps your car OEM.

Because the stock exhaust is sewing machine quiet with all the noise coming from the stock F-sport intake w/ sound generator. While the F sport accessory exhaust has a sound and a nice deep sound at that, without being overly loud or obnoxious.
