Default Ebay Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel?

For only $250, it seems way to good to be true, even if the carbon fiber is only hydro dipped. Does anyone have experience with Revesol?

I feel like all these steering wheels come from the same place because they look exactly the same and some sellers have it marked up extremely high.

That would be nice if not for that stupid red line at top. I'm sure it would be easier to make a plain one.

I was just about to say, without the red line it would've been nice. Another thing I want to add is, not sure why people want a carbon fiber steering wheel so bad because I have a carbon fiber phone case and it just gets greasy / slippery after using it. Leather fares much more nicely. I would definitely get the bottom of the steering wheel, the plastic Y and around the music control trims, not the top though.

Yep I would get this for my CT200h if it was all black leather, perhaps blue stitching) maybe with leather covered plastic trim (if that's possible) or at least painted gloss black. $250 isn't bad.

the flat bottom would free up interior room i imagine and make the driver's area seem roomier.

You can actually customize the wheel to your likings and I believe 2017+ IS have LDA which will be a completely different core. I have a 18 and the cores are different between 14-16.

Edit: Real CF wheels are around $450 shipping give or take, just depends how lucky you get on the shipping charge at the time.

Really? I actually like the red center line 🤷‍♂️

I'm always skeptical when something is this cheap.

This guy actually does a review near the 5 minute mark how the lateral grips hurt his fingers because it's sharp (this design is basically the same as the $1000 carbon fiber wheels or this $200 one)

That's probably because 3 and 9 o'clock didn't came with the heating pads - reason why it was smaller(thinner) and so the grip. He could've have requested to put more padding on that area. I waited and opted to get the heating element which is available now, but will see when it arrives.

the red center line looks like the red tape from the backing of like 3m tape to me at least. also the price does throw me off of the quality

I installed mine a few weeks ago from Elvin Wong who is very reputable with his quality of his steering wheels. The youtube video the guy displays purchased it from DCT motorsport which cost about $699 without install. The wheel quality on his is okay, and the edges are sharp from DCT motorsport. However I do not have that problem, and will be posting a youtube video of my version soon.

I put carbon fiber material to cover the center console on my IS since it had numerous micro-scratches and couldn't find a suitable alternative. The carbon fiber looked cool initially, it became an eye-sore after about a week. Too busy, a bit gaudy and distracting. I'm guessing this would be my sense after a few weeks with a $200-1000 carbon fiber steering wheel?

How did it turn out?, I would be temped to get this only if it maintains the heated wheel. Are the edges more rounded with the heating element in place?
