Help! Rear car door won't open after removing panel - part snapped
Hey everyone,
I was having my car door handels wrapped and needed the panel removed. All handles have been wrapped and look awesome, but when reassembling the last door panel (rear right) a part within snapped causing noth the interior and exterior door handles to no longer work. My car is able to unlock and the little tab inside to lock/unlock responds, but the door itself will not open. I have posted a picture of the part that snapped off. Could anyone tell me the exact replacement part number of the entire assembly which the piece snapped off of?
Currently both handle do not have that "spring" or "retracting" feeling when i pull on the handles. This plastic part says "400R" but I can't seem to find that anywhere when i google it
A little more info may be needed to help you find the part number.
Here is a pic of the rear door and the 16 parts that make it up...other than the actual door itself (https://www.discountpartsmonster.com...cal--rear-door).
Assuming that part is attached to one of the sixteen parts, maybe you can indicate which side door this broken piece belongs to and what part it came off...as it appears it is not sold seperately.
At a guess I would say it's either part of number 5 or 6.
