There is no recommended tire, it's all based on preference (i.e., what feels good to you). Many of us run Continental DSW's, Pirelli, Michelin, etc. It depends on your driving conditions (snow/cold/rainy/dry/hilly/flat/city with huge potholes) and whether you are looking to drive like the Top Thrill Dragster @ Cedar Point, drive normally, or drive like me (and old man in a hat).

If you do a quick search, you'll find multiple threads devoted to tire brands and size for you car.

Welcome to ClubLexus, BTW!

I'm running Michelin Primacy MXM4's and they've been great without and issues. Michelin mounted on both the Lexus and on the Acura TL.

@Efratsege I see you are looking for "pleasant sports driving". Can you explain this a bit? i.e., do you want something that prioritizes handling, or comfort? With tires, you can never have both.

I'll go ahead and say the stand-out all-season tires IS owners have been running are:
  • Michelin Pilot A/S 3+ (for best dry-weather performance)
  • Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 (for balance of performance in dry/snow and comfort)
If I were doing summers and winters I would probably get these:
  • Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 (for best performance summer tire for the money)
  • Pirelli Sottozero Winter 3 (for best performance winter tire in light snow)
I have personally been running the BFGoodrich G-Force Comp-2 A/S, and I like them a lot. They have a good balance of sportiness and quietness, though they are susceptible to being taken out by potholes - I have lost three of these tires that way. They are a little sportier than the OEM tires, so I would only go with those if you are prioritizing grip and responsiveness.
