Replacement drive shaft
Wondering which direction to go with this. Replace front drive shaft or just do CV boot kit. If I replace both front drive shaft, should I buy direct OEM from dealership or get aftermarket drive shaft? If aftermarket, any recommendations on brand? I have 2015 with only 38k miles. TIA.
What's the issue with the driveshaft?
It sounds like you have a CV boot that is broken or damaged on one shaft? Likely an outer boot.
I would just replace the shaft with an aftermarket rebuilt shaft, or get the shaft in your car rebuilt. Turnaround time will be longer if you rebuild the one in your vehicle.
There are specific tools to crimp the clamps for the CV boots, so if you plan to rebuild yourself, you will need to purchase the tools as well...so this will drive the cost up, likely well beyond the cost of a rebuilt shaft.

A couple of suggestions here:
1) The problem with the half shaft may be covered under the powertrain warranty. As a 2015 with only 38K miles, you should still be covered by the drivetrain / powertrain warranty. The warranty would cover any problems from the original parts failing. It would not cover damage from an object or accident.
2) Get a rebuilt half shaft including both the inner and outer joints and boots. It is simply not worth the hassle to replace just the boot, as you have to remove the whole assembly anyway and take apart the joint if you want to replace the boot. While the rebuilt half shaft is much more expensive than just the boot, it will take way less labor. You do not need to buy a new half shaft from the dealer, this is overkill and not worth it. Buy a quality rebuilt half shaft with a warranty.
