I sort of (SORT OF) feel bad for the hate you are getting on this post as you seem to be a new member from your join date and post count so I'll add a few things here:
1. People on the forums are pretty devoted to their vehicles, and if you do a tasteless mod like this which is borderline insulting to everyone here, you will get the hate, no questions. I for one do not own an IS anymore but still come to this forum every so often to keep up and interact with the people I know here. When I saw your picture of the LCD clock, I just had to jump in and say it looks horrible since I cannot imagine anyone ruining the interior look the way you have with that clock... once again that is subjective so if you like it and it helps you, by all means leave it.
2. As for other options to replace that 1962 looking LCD clock with something more modern, I just did a quick search for you check below. There are plenty of options btw....
You can vent clip the second link onto your side so passengers don't see it. Not that I would use any of this ever since I loved the analog clock, but hope this may help make it less obvious on your dash.
Thanks for the note and suggestions. I am new to the forum and new to lexus. I love my lexus and I like the idea I can get in contact with folks with the same car. I think the digital clock I got looks better then the one you found on Amazon; especially the one that is powered by 12v outlet lol. Although it does look more hidden on top of the steering wheel. Somthing to consider I should say.
I am waiting to hear back from Lexus, I used their contact submission page asking them if I need a software update... let's see if they actually reply.
I'm interested in what information they have to render.
With that said does the analog clock get auto adjusted by the GPS or is it manually set only?, if its manual I'm never touching it and to be honest I completely ignore it.
I'm not a fan of analog clocks in cars, makes them seem its for an older clientele.
I like everything listed in the gauge cluster so there is less distraction while driving.

There are analog clocks that are automated via the AM time sync band but seems the clock is manual.
What they should have done is place an OLED screen inside the clock so you could switch between analog and digital, but I guess that was too much to ask...even cheap Chinese watches do that now.

That would be cool. Could even display other vital info one might want displayes at all times.
He showed us a pic of his cluster and say that he has a 2018 so what is the deal with that? Kinda makes for confusing statements.
I have a 2017 IS 300 f-sport (Canadian edition) and there is no digital clock on mine. I was led to believe that the Canadian versions do not have the digital clock and the American versions do. Go figure.

Hey good point... My 2015 was manufactured in Japan 8/14 ... I wonder if this is a determining factor on who gets digital clocks.

Nothing that helps
They responded with this statement:
"We would like to advise you that as per page 82 of your Owners Manual, the clock is displayed on the instrument cluster when the main meter is moved to the right. Please see the picture on page 84 of the manual for the button on the steering wheel to move the main meter."
I will provide them the photos of the clock not being there and the option not existing in the settings menu and note about this thread that folks with 2017 and 2019 have it and see what they say, also when I take the car in for the 1600km first check up I will ask the dealer to insure I have the latest software loaded.
