Currently looking at a 350 with 150k miles on it. Has all the service records and new Michelins on it. The owner says the high mileage is due to driving back and forth from Texas to California. The price he is stuck at is 17k, but with the mileage and packages that come with the car, kbb, truecar, and cargurus all say the car isn't worth above 15k. Am I missing something or is the car being overvalued?

That's allot of milesfor a 14. It should definitely be priced lower. Shouldn't hesitate to buy especially if you get it inspected beforehand

I was planning on buying the car after an inspection, but I don't want to pay 2k more than the car is worth. Also, the buyer has stopped responding to me.

Wow that's a high price for a high mileage IS350. Just got mine appraised at carmax and the most they were willing to pay out was 20k for 69k miles. Fsport, BSM and Nav. Package.

Sounds like he tried to rip you off. Car is overvalued anyways, keep looking.
