I think one of my front bearings is bad, I get a lot of the noise characteristic of a bad wheel bearing. I'm trying to source the part but don't know two things 1)are wheel bearings side dependent (left or right) or just rear and front? 2)Any good sources or brands? I was checking amazon and most are chinese made and I'm kind of weary of getting anything like that.

Get OE, OEM or equivalent. Timken is a good bearing supplier. If you go to Autozone you can ask to see the bearing and open the box and you can see who makes it. off the top of my head, SKF is another bearing manufacturer.

Make sure the wheel bearing is made in Germany or else it’s no good.
