Sad Day

My beautiful blueberry got sideswiped in a parking lot today. 😢 Luckily the person who hit her called the military police to report it and we exchanged info so her insurance will be paying.

Yeah, the girl didn’t know how to park a Toyota Tacoma she came in too hard into the spot thinking she was going to clear my car but she was very wrong. :dunno:

Sorry to hear that. These situations can be incredibly frustrating.

She came in at 40mph or what? That's not just a small nudge. :eek2:

Jeez... that's quite the side swipe - sorry to hear. At least she reported it and didn't do a hit and run. Good luck on the repairs!

Sorry to hear it bro.

Thanks everybody it’s always heartbreaking when your baby gets damaged. Yeah she was clearly in a hurry and tried to pull into the spot quickly otherwise she would have just nudged most likely the bumper. Since I’m in Germany I’m trying to figure out who best to get it taken care of. Lexus dealership is about and hour and a half away but there is a Toyota nearby and they said they should be able to take care of it so I guess I’ll trust Toyota to do it should be about the same as Lexus.

RKSTRAT 06-12-19 02:05 PM

Should be as good as new, with today's technology.
Just had my bumper done.....perfect!

Well Germany is pretty technologically advanced so I’m sure it will be the same as back in the States.

Hate to see that, I know that’s a bummer to say the least. Good to know it was an honest person though, just something to thankful for. Surely, Toyota can get it taken care of for you.

I decided to just have Lexus in Frankfurt do it. They are going to do all the work dealing with the insurance and the labor etc. They were already doing the TSB for the turbo regulator too so 2 birds 1 stone.

Ajowhan 06-14-19 08:11 AM

So sorry and sad to hear that.. :( Hang in there!

Sorry to hear man know the feeling not nearly as bad but had to have a new front bumper installed due to accident.
