16 IS20T Boost surging?
 

So my car did this with the oem intake but it wasnt as noticeable. With the injen intake its been very noticeable. Lexus tells me its normal. But my turbo mustang has a smoother power delivery than this Lexus. When you go part throttle enough to get into the boost you can pull up the boost gauge and watch it bounce. At full throttle it doesnt do this. However the boost does quickly fall off from 1.50 to .75. The throttle on most days almost feels like its stepped. I took the car into lexus and even went for a ride with a tech and was told the car is driving like normal and there is nothing wrong. But you can clearly hear the turbo increasing and decreasing. Of course the intake was blamed. So might have to throw the stock one back on just so they can see it do it with that as well. Any of you have an issue like this and if so was it fixed by lexus? I asked them about the boost solenoid and was very quickly told no (along with them telling me the car was lowered and repainted which it isnt and hasnt been). Any response is appreciated.

There is TSB on this exact issue, I called my service advisor and told him the car was delayed and surging on acceleration/deceleration and he replace the solenoid without issue.
