Default Lexus CPO

Quick question..

I just got a 2016 IS that was L-Certified from a dealer.

I have a complete print out of the service history, and it looks pretty good. The current miles on the car is 23K. The first in service date was June, 11th 2016 when it was first leased to the first owner.

So, am I correct that I still have until June, 11th of 2020 (or 50K) of the original bumper to bumper left.. AND THEN the CPO additional 2 years kicks in with unlimited miles?

So basically in the end I have just bought a car with a 3/yr factory warranty?

I paid $24K for this car.. this seems like a good deal!

Also..

My friend now want to get a Lexus LOL. Looking at autotrader he found a few he likes. However they are not CPO cars. Is there a way to have them CPO'ed, and at what cost does that happen?

Thanks so much!

Correct. I have a 2014 that was bought in 2013. My CPO expires in July of this year. With CPO, you get total of 6 years of warranty from the day car was first sold.

No way to get a car CPO'ed. Buy from Lexus Dealer is the only way.

Yep I'm going to blow past my 50k in no time so my warranty is unlimited miles until 2023!
