noise when i startup my 2014 is250 posible camgear failure
Hi everyone, i want to make a question about camgear in my 2014 is250 3rd generarion, with 57.000 KM, i'm from chile, and i've bought my car arround 3 months ago, and sometimes, it make a grinding noise when i start up (arround just 3 times in 4 weeks with arround less 5 seconds each time). I have been read in other post that some lexus had been with this noise in camgear (i belive that de 2nd generation), please help me

The cam gear sound is a rattle that lasts for 1 second when you start the vehicle cold. If you blink you could miss it.
If the noise is lasting for about 5 seconds, then it's not the cam gear.
I would suspect it's your serpentine belt...based on mileage and your brief description of the noise.
