From the outset of my car search, I already decided i do not need much power like >300hp and i wanted a turbo car after driving NA all my life. Test drove these cars all 4-cylinder turbos:

1) Jaguar XE: Man, this car turns head like no other (IMO) but the drive was jarring and you can feel that Jag made this just to have a slice of the compact sports sedan pie. It is nothing like the bigger XF except the styling. Perhaps the next iteration will be better

2) C-Class: Very executive feel, drives good and gives a feel of confidence. The rear legroom was abit cramped though and the styling was abit off for me, it gives me the feel that I will loathe the looks very soon.

3) A4: The best interior out of all, plushy, techy and solid, but the FWD version i tested does not feel as confident as i would have liked. There still is a difference between FWD and RWD regardless what audi claims.

4) IS200t: Had a hunch that the looks will grow on me (And I'm right!! ), chassis was stiff, the handling was surprisingly very good and the interior is just behind the A4 which says alot. Engine is not as refined as the C-class and not as techy any of its competitors but are all I do not need and the seats imo are the best for the driver. IMO, it seems Lexus designed the IS to be an all-rounder, it doesn't seem to lead in any of the attributes you'd test but it does everything very well, and of course, with the best reliability, which to me is important as I'm not leasing and not those who change cars every 3 years.
