if any of you have OEM 10.25” screen then this would go great with your unit.
this is what I bought Link
As i see you put stock OEM big screen, without android. What did you buy?
- Big OEM SCREEN
- Navigation block
- Mouse
Yes?

In this topic we are talking about Android device from Chinese So this is two different things.

Hi,

I was wondering how did you guys run the two sets of wires from the main harness up to the back of the screen, there is no room in the back and I have tried pulling the a/c control unit out for more clearance, thanks

I went up through the right of the dash. You should be able to get your hand in and feed it up to the screen and catch it through the right side of it.

Did you have to remove any addition parts of the car? Such as the glove box? I only have the radio and A/C unit popped out thus far.

Nope. I didn’t even removed the AC unit. I went through the radio opening and traced the wires going up to the screen. There is a lot of room there to stick your hand and feed the wire up until you could fish it from the top right where the screen is.

Anyway to put the Android external box in glove box? Maybe harness is probably not long enough. I just bought the one that cones with wireless CarPlay hopefully it works without troubleshooting much.

I have a 2015 350 F Sport w/ML stereo, to upgrade the stereo to 2017+ is there anything special that needs to be done or are all harnesses etc, the same?

if you are talking about the one in the OP, then no it's plug and play from what I understand... the harness just plugs inline with what you already have. Waiting for mine to show up so I can get it installed!

Meaning the OEM 10.3" screen? I believe it's $2K or so, yes?

This thread is about the unit from 4x4shop.ca that has android built in... which ranges from $650-1100 depending on where you get it. This is not an oem option, it looks close to OEM though which is what I like.

The OEM unit, is much more expensive and requires replacing the entire thing (screen and controls) from what I understand. someone correct me if I'm wrong?
