Wait why do you have to remove the actual radio system? That's annoying, I was under the impression you're just supposed to change the screen out. That sucks, but not a deal breaker haha.

Here is the wiring hookup

U unplug 3 cables from the back of the radio and plug them into the wiring kit and plug the new ends into the radio. Then you have two new ends that you have to rout up to the screen and you only plug in the blue cable from the actual car to the scrren.

Did you hook up the GPS antenna, if so where did you route it to and place it? What about the USB cable they include that in the video they ran into the glove box?

Looks like a different unit, but the video gives you an idea of what you'd have to do for the installation.

it doesn’t, it’s a different product in that video. He was just showing the video to give an idea of how you take apart everything to install the unit.

have to interface behind the stereo to get the center console control ***** and canbus signals. those only go to the headunit and not to the display.

First post updated with a first initial small review. I will post more information as I complete the process. Feel free to ask any questions and I can answer those at this time.

It’s a nice review thanks for the update. I am just curious as to how you’re going to route your GPS cable so that it doesn’t show. So you said the stock microphone works fine while in “Lexus interface mode”? What about the stock USB plugins?

Great review. I'm waiting in the shop to get mine done as we speak. I'm looking forward to your video walkthrough.
