How Hard Do You Guys/Gals Drive Your IS?

i drive above the speed limit 99% of the time but i don't think i'm too hard on brakes or tires the way i was in my vette. i'm the first away at intersections and a frequent lane changer. i don't like all the quick shifting of normal mode so i drive in sport mode 100% of the time. i NEVER use the paddles. i turn traction control off except when the roads are wet. i'm very happy with the way the bms piggy back and hps intake have added to the performance and i take advantage of it.

I drive pretty casual as to take care of the car long term. Driving easily on the car probably 85% of the day's miles. I do go faster than anyone around me but shifts when driving "casual" are around 2-4 k rpms.
I am normally conscious of torque converter/differential, transmission, tires and brake rotors (dont pinch the brakes when they're really hot). I plan to keep the car 7+ years and prefer to do my own repairs.
However, the other 15-20% of the time if I feel like I'm driving on a rail not ever getting loose than I'm not driving or cornering fast enough . Get your money's worth.
The "drifting" wanna be days are over but I love that point just between solid traction and sliding when coming through a long corner...is work over yet?

I drive pretty sedately most of the time, since my typical commute doesn't allow for much - not very twisty and low speed limits. However I'd say a couple of times a week I take the "long way home" and beat on it a bit. I always drive for a bare minimum of 12 or so minutes, even if the car's somewhat warm, before going over 4k RPM. In the winter, I don't get to really drive it hard as much due to the longer warm up times combined with my short commute.
As far as hard cornering, I don't do that too much, only if it's nice and dry and it's a road I know well.
I mean honestly my impressions are that if you aren't a d*** to your car - i.e. make sure it's warmed up, don't go over the limit, and don't drive hard for extended periods - you'll be ok.
So I guess I probably am pretty nice to my car overall. 19,000 miles on it btw.

I have 70,000 miles on a 2015 350F Sport. I drive it hard everyday since new and use sport mode exclusively. The car still feels and looks new. Only had 1 unscheduled repair in 3.5 years of ownership. Great car. Still loving it.

I have a 2015 IS350 AWD fsport with 28k miles. I know these engines are bulletproof but how do the AWD 6 speed automatic transmissions hold up under normal driving habits (very limited hard driving)? What’s the lifespan one could from this particular transmission before problem so like slipping occur?

All these people driving the car hard makes me happy. It's a testament to the IS reliability as none of these members have very little issues. Part of the reason I got the IS was the fact I needed a car that could withstand my driving style.

ECO mode when I'm in traffic either in the morning or rush hour, normal from home to work or when I go out and sport mode when driving with a group of friends or spirited driving between errands.
