F1R Wheels

First post here in CL. Does anyone have experience with F1R wheels? I have my eyes set on the F1R F21 in Hyper Black for my 2014 SLM IS350 AWD Executive Non-F Sport. I am aiming for 18x8.5 ET38 on stock Bridgestone Turanza EL400 225/40/18 on the fronts and 18x9.5 ET40 on stock 255/35/18 on the rears at stock height. I based the fitment on threads claiming flush fitment on stock 18" wheels with 25 mm spacers on front and 20 mm spacers on rear. I chose the fronts to allow for some spacers since I saw multiple post of some aftermarket wheels not clearing the front calipers for the IS350. I am also open to suggestions on other wheels as well.

Here are some photos of the rims in gold on an IS250 that I found on their site. I think those are 18" but I will confirm once I get a reply from F1R about the exact specification. Following those photos are of the F21 in Hyper Black.

Welcome to the forum! and a fellow Canadian!

Those are some nice looking wheels!
If you're looking for other suggestions on rims, check out the wheel thread...it's hours and hours of rim porn lol : https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...exclusive.html
Honestly, I think rim choice is really in the eye of the beholder...whatever you like will look good to you.
If you still have the factory Turanza's just pitch them are far as you can and get some better rubber. You can even go a little bigger to get additional sidewall height...it will ride nicer. Suggested F:255/35/18 and R:265/35/18
As for fitment, the rear will be fine...the front, spoke design will have to be looked at to see if it clears.
With a +38, that leaves you room to add a quality 5mm spacer if you need to clear the caliper and make it flush to the fender.

They offered me a partial sponsorship but it wasn't worth it so I declined the offer. They've got some good looking wheels though, especially their new F101.

Thanks for the info. I just quickly took some measurements and found out that the front calipers sticks out about 1.5 in from the mounting base of the wheels and 4 in from the center (wheels axis of rotation). The stud has about 14/16 in of thread from the base and the center hub ring protrudes out about 5/16 in (7.9375 mm) which allows for 5 mm spacer.
