Default Looking at 350 F-Sport... Good Price?

Hi guys,

Sold my 08 IS-F a little over a year ago (God do I miss it) since I never really drove it anymore and have just stuck with my daily since then - 2016 Accord Sport. Since the Accord is getting boring as ****, and I don't see myself getting a second sports car for a while with 2 kids on the way, I'm looking into trading my Accord for a used/CPO 14-15 IS350 F-Sport. I've recently been offered a 2014 350 F-Sport with 48k for $32k OTD. This is not CPO or from a Lexus dealer. Does this seem like a good price for this car? MY14 was the first year for 3G so have there been many issues with this year?

Thanks for the help! Pic of my [former] baby below.

Just for reference, I bought a 2015 IS350 F-sport with 40k miles back in October of last year for $31k from Carmax. Maybe you can negotiate down a little bit, but that price doesn't seem too far out. Good luck!

I'm looking at this 2015 IS 350 Fsport at a Toyota Dealership. It has little bit over 34000 miles and they're asking $32000 for it. Is that a good deal? Should I negotiate for a lower price? Is $32000 otd reasonable for me and them?

No ~ sorry man ~ that's a 2015 price. You can do much better than $32k, especially for a 2014, and more especially with that mileage, & non-CPO. Counter with $25k and then work up from there to a maximum of $27.5k. If they don't budge then kindly hint that you're about to walk. Also, perhaps try searching a bit further outside your locale or a different state. Nice previous rides tho...

Moved from Providence almost 4 years ago, but I'll sell you my '15 IS350 F RWD with 27k on it, just put new Pilot Sport A/S 3+s on it.

$34k.

You just have to ship it from Newport Beach, CA.

I forgot to mention that the $32k also includes my $3k negative from the Accord. So after tax, title, all fees, and the trade (-$3k) its $32k. It's not horrible but I still think I can get a 2015 for that.

Correct - so you DID NOT get the 2014 right??

On the other hand, taking into consideration the $3k trade in, maybe $29k sounds a bit better, UNLESS the Honda Accord is worth more...

I vote no as well. 32K OTD for a Non-CPO 014 IS350 with 48K miles is extremely expensive. In the Bay Area, where I live, you can get a CPO 014 IS350 with roughly 35K miles for about maybe 30K OTD. And for reference - this is the Bay Area - our cars sell higher on average compared to the rest of USA because of our insane cost of living.

Buy this. I’m sure you can get it for 30-32K OTD if you negotiate right. Fully loaded with Mark Levinson and low mileage. Won’t find a better deal... you’re welcome 😉
