Default Help: I need help with tire sizing

I have an AWD with OEM 18' wheels & tires right now.

Specs for OEM 18' wheels & tires
18x 8 225/40 front
18 x8.5 255/35 rear

I'm looking into buying some wheels with the specs
18x8 +40 front
18x9 +45 rear

What tire specs would go best with these?
Thank you!

If I'm reading this correctly, you don't plan on changing the front rim size, and you only want to increase the rear by 0.5 inch.
If that is the case, then you can use the same size tires that are currently on the car.

ya, the difference in wheels specs are so small, you can reuse stock tires, or use same size tires if you plan on buying other tires.
