Guys need small help I got exhaust which has a lot of drone.
1 Can I replace it with fsport muffler with no resonator. ?
2 will it have drone ?
3 is oem resonator a straight pipe ?

What type of an exhaust did you get? If it's just an axle back their shouldn't be much of or any drone unless you have an air leak.

Are you looking at getting the muffler off the F-Sport IS or are you getting the F-Sport brand muffler? They are two different things.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. The muffler that comes from the factory is the same for all models regardless if you have the standard, luxury, or F-sport model.
If you want a performance muffler, then the F-sport brand (not the F-Sport IS) is what you are looking for.

I found 1 on ebay https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/322931829526?ul_noapp=true and hence want to make sure it fits right before i buy it.

BTW guys what is the size ie inch resonator does the stock resonators come ? is it 2.5 in and out ?

that's a stock IS exhaust. It is the same exact exhaust you already have on your car. The resonator inlet/outlet for the Oem midpipe is 2.25.

If you want some noise, you can use the stock muffler, take the resonator out and put a straight pipe in. I don't know about the droning noise.

Thanks Jay , I want this to be as close to the stock as possible. In Terms of resonator how long is the stock 2.25 in out is fine length ?? And width . Will the below be the best

you can do what I just did with my Tsudo catback this past week. I removed the original resonators that came with the catback and installed two 18" length , 6" round Magnaflow resonators in place. The car sounds just like stock inside and from the outside you can only hear it above 3k rpms.
Let me look for the link and I will send it over of the two I bought.
