Default How do you clean your f sport intake?

What do you guys use to clean your F sport air filter? Just wondering if everyone uses the recommended cleaning solution or they make their own. Any suggestions welcomed! Just want to know your preferred method for cleaning the f sport filter.

Thanks!

Haven't had to clean mine yet but Lexus does make an Fsport filter cleaning kit:

Simple green and hot water! Keep rinsing it until it’s clean. I just did mine a few days ago!

Simple Green? hmm sounds like an easy way to do it but not sure if I trust Simple Green. Was this your first time using Simple Green or have you been using it for a while?

How often do you need to clean the filter?

AEM Sells their dryflow filter cleaner for $11. I have never tried the cleaner itself but I have tried their panel filters before.

I recently ordered the f-sport panel filter and will prob use the AEM cleaner.

I purchased my cleaning kit from Lexus Parts Now https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/...r03-53085.html

It's very easy to do, but you will need to wait for the filter to dry completely before re-installing and driving. So plan ahead. I'm in the process of purchasing a second filter so I can just swap, drive and clean at my leisure.

Monster Parts has it a bit cheaper https://www.discountpartsmonster.com...kit-ptr0353085

Yup, I used it twice for this car. I’ve used it many times for my dry filters on my Honda’s. Simple green is a safe and natural cleaner.
