Car leaning slightly toward driver's side
 

(I apologize in advance for not having pictures, just noticed this morning and am now at work, took wife's car)

The driver's side of my car appears to be slightly lower than the passenger's. I also have noticed, over the past few days, an odd rattling sound when traveling at low speeds and the engine RPM is around 900-1000, which appears to be coming from the front-driver's side of the car. I just noticed the leaning this morning. When I got out of the car last night after running to the store, I thought I saw it, but was sure I was being paranoid. Had my wife look at it this morning, and she said it was "obvious". Has anyone got any idea or previous experience with this issue? My coworker thinks possibly the suspension is damaged or collapsed. I think so too, since I checked the tire pressures, and they are all checking out at 35 on all four corners.

Do you remember running over anything? A way to see if the shocks are still there is to push on a corner and see if there is any rebound. I’d see the dealer no matter what though.

I don't remember running over anything in the past few weeks. I did run over something months ago, but we already found that it simply messed up one of the underbody panels.

I should have mentioned above, I did press down on both sides of the car. It was easier to depress the passenger's side than the driver's (i.e., I could get more rebound from the passenger's side).

No, in fact the car is entirely stock.

I would check the shocks for any oil residue. If it is leaking or blown, there would be oil residue on it.
Sounds like your shocks are more compressed than the passenger side, hence it would not bounce as much when pressed on.
I think this should still be covered under warranty, just don't mention to them that you ran over anything a few months ago..

Thanks, that is a very good point. Given how long ago that was, it may not even be related, but then again, a slow leak could have happened... Hard to say. I'll be there shortly and see what they say.

I would check the shocks for sure brother, i had a similar issue when i had my IS.
I ended up changing the whole system to a coilover system LOL.
But night & day difference

So, I'm pretty embarrassed. When I got there, the service advisor and I looked at the car... no sign of any suspension issue. Everything was perfectly level. No odd responses when pressing down on the corners either. When I got home, I parked in the garage and noticed - yep, again the driver's side is lower. Turns out that this has probably been happening for a while, but I just noticed it - the floor is slightly slanted around the drain in the garage to funnel the water into it. I went and parked in the driveway to confirm - sure enough, level again!

It's still there, I swear! :D I noticed it when leaving this morning, so I pulled out my phone to record it. Didn't happen on video. I was so mad, especially since we went out for lunch today, and it happened then, too.
