From what I've read online, it's the clear coat chipping, not the actual carbon fiber. With that said I have a seibon hood and today I got a small but noticeable chip in the clear coat. Does anyone have any diy tips on fixing the clear coat? Or does the whole hood need to be resprayed?

 

get a bottle of clear, and try doing it like this...
and then get some clear bra put on :P
