Red vinyl over amber lights on 2017 IS
havent been on these forums in awhile and just wanted to know if anyone has red out their amber lights on the back? I don't like them at all and want to get it done soon. If anyone has any pics or directions to lead me to getting this done that will help alot! Hope everyone is doing good!

I don't know if there's a good option. Some use those tail light sprays but they typically come out blurry and low quality looking and tend to be permanent. You can try some clear vinyl off ebay, cut it to size, but not sure how nice it will come out.
The nicer it is, the more irreversible and more work it is. no easy and reversible/cheap way that i've seen.
You'd also want to run a clear bulb to maximize the amount of light you put out.

I've seen it done both ways (not on an IS), and I didn't see a dramatic difference. But what I did notice up close was the separation between the vinyl and area that wasn't wrapped. Everyone will have a different color perspective so you might notice that color difference. If anything, you might see a slight shade difference between the red and silver/clear but probably not so much so between the red and amber.

I did the slickmod ones, I like how it turned out, when a heat gun was used to lock em tight. We'll see how they hold up. I also contacted him to smoke/black out the rear reflectors which I think are pretty heinous, which he doesn't list but has and he is sending me a set of those.
