Default Bodyshop Aftermarket Pieces

so, i bought an aftermarket f-sport bumper to do the f-sport conversion and i called up my local bodyshop to do the paint work and installation but i was told that they wouldn't be able to do that sort of work; that they work mostly with large collisions.

anyhow, is there a bodyshop that anyone can recommend in either the San Diego area (preferable as i'm in Temecula) or in the general greater Los Angeles area that would be able to tackle the job?

What, they don't like money?

I have never had that problem with a body shop. I would just call around. A Good body shop should charge you around $500.00 for prep and paint.

yeah, it's really weird. i called both lexus recommended bodyshops and was told the same thing by both of them, that they wouldn't work on painting pieces that a customer brings in.

i did find one in my hometown affiliated with toyota, chevrolet, ford, and hyundai that said they would probably be able to do it -- emphasis on probably. i'm annoyed.

Any body shop will do that. Just tell them (if needed) you'll sign a waiver stating you won't hold them responsible for part defects. They'll usually write down "customer brought in"

sounds strange.

If you're down for the drive to El Monte, this guy is known in the BMW socal community for his great work. He did a friend's car. And a lot of new cars too. I think he does some work for dealers. Check him out.
