Default F-sport front tire replacement

I know this has been discussed but I need new front tires for my 14' IS350 AWD F-sport.

The dealer wants $310 /ea for the stock bridgestones or $210 /ea for Hankook tires that are comparable. These prices are super high so i figured I'd buy my own tires and bring them to him. He said $20 a tire install. Fine with me.

What should I get? The Hankook's he was suggesting can be gotten on discounttire for $102 /ea but I'm thinking something of better quality. Stock Bridgestone Turenza for $203 /ea or something comparable in price. Any help is appreciated. I'm on coils, i like to take turns fast but i also hate too much road noise.

Turanzas are possibly the worst tire you can buy. Seriously. Get Pilot Super Sports or AS3 (Michelins).

+1, my last car, a Camry, also had the Turanzas. They were terrible, even in comparison to the Nexens I had before on a previous car, also a Camry. They had little traction in the wet and even less grip in snow, despite their all-season label. Not to mention, the road noise was noticeably worse than in my previous car, and it was worse than one co-worker's Camry as well! I am enduring the same tires on the IS till they wear out just because I don't want to spend money on nice tires right now. My wife would probably object anyway.

That's my rant: avoid the Turanzas.

I went with Micheline Pilot A/S3+ as my OEM replacements. I would definitely upgrade to a UHP all season, if I were you. The Turanzas are crap.

Hankooks are fine--and even good or as good as OEMs or better. They're standard equipment on many new cars nowadays.

I'm going for the Michelins next.

Bridgestone should be ashamed of themselves for making such a crap tire.

I wanted to get Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s when I got my tires replaced, but they didnt have it available at the time. I paid 700ish to get 3 replaces. I got Bridgestone Potenza RE760, since they came with the car when I bought it. Heres a screenshot from tirerack

Curious why you don't go to Costco (buy/mount/ & I think they also align)?

I get coupons sometimes $70 rebate on Michelin and Bridgstone tires when you buy 4. Could save the extra $80 for bringing your own tires, plus whatever labor amount they charging you. (I'm sure Costco labor rate is cheaper as well)

I just replaced all 4 tires with Michelin PSS. They are little louder than the Turanza but the turanza has 140 tread wear and the rears will go out pretty soon.

I second the continental extreme contact dws 06s - they're pretty awesome tires.

Been on my Michelin PSS and i find them to be very harsh though grippy, i can feel every bumps and road markings. Been thinking to get more comfort-oriented tires, any recommendations for 235/35/19? I'm on square setup. Read that Pirelli P7 and the Goodyear F1 AS3 are more comfort-oriented, how true is that?

I was looking to see what tires I wanted, but then I found a brand new set of Turanza's on brand new stock rims for $1000 Canadian so I get to start over with these mediocre tires lol.
