Default 14 is350 non ML factory eq graph results

So i finally got around to adjusting the bands with my jl audio fix 86 and i was also curious to see how bad the factory eq actually was. When i first got this car i was extremely disappointed with the way the car sounded. in fact, i thought it was possibly the worst sounding stereo ive ever heard for a high end car. You guys can be the judge for your self but my ears did not deceive me.

Huh? Am I seeing the factory settings here, or what it looks like after your adjustments?

My 2 cents: Honestly, the factory stereo sounds fine. I think it'll be better when I get some quieter tires on this thing. When I am not moving it sounds good. Then again, even as someone who does music stuff on the side, I've never considered myself an audiophile. If I can hear all the parts of a song clearly, the speakers are fine in my book.

In my 2016 CT i was able to install JBL two way speakers, and a $100 amp for front stage. made a HUGE difference.

Can something like that be done in our cars? but the system does suck. lol.. i added a sub which made it sound SO much better. even if its just deception

Just for curiosity, are these measurements taken directly at the line out? It's interesting there is such a hole in the 100-250 hz area as my ears tell me that there is a lot of tubbyness in the upper lows / low mids. I've got REW and might ring out the cabin to see what the cabin actually does to the graph as I'm thinking some resonance is filling in the gap between the crossover points. I find this stuff cool.
