2015 IS350 F Sport LED or HID
Hi I should know this but I can't find it I just had my passenger side headlight replaced due to a collision. The new one is brighter than the driver side I was curious if they could have put in the wrong version. Should these be led or hid on the 2015 f sport?
thanks

When I went to pick it up it had cloudy film on piece of it and moisture inside i believe. I told them that it was unacceptable. They agreed and claim they are going to order an OEM part from Lexus (although when this one was ordered they said it was from Lexus as well). They have lied to me and never respond to calls so I don't trust them that much. The said thing is its from a Hendrick collision repair shop. With the crap they have given me I can't believe his name is on it. I just took some pics. earlier it was in the garage and the passenger light was shining on a white surface and the driver side on a tan wall. I moved it outside. Here are some pics. After taking these I think its more of an aim issue along with the cloudy film. Its the passenger side. You can see where part of it is diverted higher on my garage. Also my DRL is also somewhat off. The second pic is DRL only.

The stock LED lights have 2 projector bulbs while the stock HID lights have 1. If both sides look the same then it's probably the right type.
For your situation, I can only think of two possibilities:
1. They used non-OEM parts
2. The color in your original bulbs changed over time, which means it'll be different than a brand new one.
For the DRL, I believe mine are at an even height but I haven't really checked that.

Looks aftermarket based on the pattern. way way different... but i'd be surprised if such a part existed. how about a pic of the actual headlight?
color will likely change slightly between an old part and new. but the projection should be identical.

I don't have an actual picture right now I'm at work. But it looks the same as the other one. Here are some pics of it but I took them originally to show them where the need to fix the paint.

Hard to say. Does the light have branding on it? Lexus, Koito...
