What's the average cost...?

To install cat-back exhaust and intake. Every place I tried calling always say bring the car in. I don't really have the time to stop by all the shops. Trying to figure out the fair price for IS 350 F Sport.

if you are lazy, you will never find a bargain. When the shop sees you drive a Lexus, they will jack up the price vs a beater civic. I paid 80 cash for my catback, which took 1.5 hours. Most places wants 150-300

^ exactly this. I dont know the first thing in installing a cat back exhaust so the first time i took it into a shop(it was a tuner shop), they charged me 220. And when i went to a different shop to get my after market exhaust taken out and replace it back to stock exhaust they charged me 150$. Definitely bargain and negotiate on price which is something i didnt do the first time to the shop. Good luck!

Most auto shops exist to rip you off unless you know someone who owns a shop. Unfortunately i dont, so i pay a higher cost which my wallet can take the hit, hence why we got a lexus. But yeah, definitely dont like dealing with auto shops but i understand though since mechanics dont get paid enough

Seriously, I would just buy some jack and jack stand (50 bucks) and do it yourself. They are super easy to do and you can use your jack/ jack stand for next install or an emergency.

Most shops will charge about 55 bucks per hour. so under 100 bucks is a good deal.
