Do you have any specs on the wheel?
Height/width/offset/bolt pattern/bore...that will tell you for sure if it fits or not.
We'll show the internet what the real deal is!!!

Fitment is basically the same as the F Sport OEM wheels, except the front is a +45 offset.
It's only 5mm more than the front F Sport, I don't think it will impact anything as the wheel is only an 8 inch width.
What does the internet say as to why they won't fit?

If that's them then they should fit...it says they're for the IS.

the internet is conflicted because they fit the previous generation IS but ostensibly not the current generation. i don't want to run spacers or anything like that as i don't know much about wheel and fitment. anyhow, yes, those wheels linked above are them! it says they're for the IS, but the 2IS, not the 3IS...
edit: if you use the "check if this part fits your vehicle" function on the website above, it says that it does not fit the 2014+ IS, but i'm not sure why.
any additional help would be much appreciated. thanks, guys and gals, as i really like the g spider wheels! i had them on my 2IS before i traded up to a 3IS.

Here are the overall specs for the F Sport rims and the G-Spider rims:
F Sport rims ---------------------------------G-Spider rims
F:18x8 +40 offset -------------------------F:18X8 +45 offset
R:18X8.5 +50 offset ---------------------R:18X8.5 +50 offset
Bore:60.1mm -------------------------------Bore:60.1mm
Bolt pattern:5X114.3 ---------------------Bolt pattern:5X114.3
As you can see, the rear are exactly the same.
The bore and bolt pattern are also exactly the same.
The only difference is the front offset.
If you have a IS250, which has the smaller front brakes, then fitment should not be an issue.
If you have an IS300/350, then it's possible the rim may be too close to the caliper and the front won't fit.
The simple solution would be to add a 5mm spacer to each front rim, thus making the offset +40 and the rim would clear the caliper.
However, if it fit the previous IS350, then it should fit any 3IS as the 2IS 350 front caliper is the same as the 3IS 300/350 front caliper.
Maybe they just haven't updated their compatibility listing.

i found that the 18" mesh-style rims that are on one of my ISs (the luxury packaged one) are exactly like the g-spider rims.
Mesh 18" Rims
Offset: 45(F) 50(R)
Rim Width: 8(F) 8.5(R)
Rim Diameter: 18
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
Hub Bore: 60.1

I'm running the G spiders on my 2014 IS350 as my winter setup. For the the first winter I had the car, Tirerack did not yet have wheels available for the IS, and these were the cheapest OEM wheels that I figured should fit. It's a square set up, 18x8 wheels with 225/40x18 snow tires all around. They clear the front fixed caliper of the IS350 with no spacers. No problems in the 3 years I've had the car and they look good too.

well, i wound up buying the wheels and a new set of tires because the stock bridgestones were about out of tread. i got continental extremecontact dws06 rubber to match the new shoes. hopefully the tires are good. i've read a lot about the contis vs others, but i already purchased them, no going back now! we'll see!
